An internship at WMRR Radio involves performing entry-level duties to gain experience in media broadcasting and production. Your responsibilities vary depending on the details of the program. Student interns usually help with our radio shows by setting up equipment, preparing scripts, and queuing advertisements or sound clips. In addition to broadcast assistance, interns may perform administrative duties such as answering the phone, responding to emails, posting social media updates, and helping schedule and prepare guests before they go on air.
How Can I Become a WMRR Radio Internship?
The qualifications that you need to be an intern at WMRR, include enrollment in a broadcast media degree program. As a student, you may also receive college credit. WMRR expect candidates to have basic skills using studio equipment, we prefer candidates that have completed one or more years of school or who have previously worked on a radio show.
